From the initial fertility tests, diagnosis and treatment, our goal is to help you achieve your family building goals in a supportive and compassionate environment. At RMACT you benefit from our dedicated staff and use of state-of-the-art technologies.
You will begin by meeting with your physician who will review your records and ask you about your medical and reproductive history.
Most new patient consultations include a physical exam, transvaginal ultrasound and some blood work. These tests help diagnose any conditions affecting your fertility.
After your first visit we will put together an individualized treatment plan to help you achieve your goals. RMACT’s fertility doctors, nurses and support staff work as a team to achieve your goal. Fertility specialists at all our locations provide a wide range of fertility tests, treatments and complementary services to combat the diagnosis.
Infertility Diagnosis
Fertility tests may lead to any of the following diagnosis:
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) is a medical condition that causes infertility by preventing women from ovulating.
Endometriosis
Endometriosis is a gynecologic condition in which tissues similar to the lining of the uterus are found elsewhere in the body.
Recurrent Pregnancy Loss
Recurrent pregnancy loss is diagnosed after two consecutive first trimester or early second trimester miscarriages with fetal heartbeats. Also it may be diagnosed when second or third trimester miscarriages are not explained by an obvious correctable source.
Uterine Polyps and Polypectomy
Polyps are lesions located in the lining of the uterine cavity. Polyps can take up space within the uterine cavity, causing a zone of inflammation and decrease pregnancy rates.

Fibroids are benign growths of the uterus. They can grow inside the uterine cavity where pregnancy develops causing sub-fertility and miscarriage.
